There is no scientific article that definitively answers the question of whether human consciousness can travel through space and time instead of the whole human body. However, there is some scientific research that suggests that consciousness may not be limited to the physical body.

For example, one study found that people who had near-death experiences often reported feeling a sense of detachment from their bodies and of being able to see and experience things from a different perspective. Another study found that people who practiced meditation or other forms of mindfulness training were able to experience a sense of expanded awareness that went beyond their physical bodies.

These studies suggest that consciousness may not be limited to the physical brain, but may instead be a more fundamental aspect of reality. If this is the case, then it is possible that consciousness could travel through space and time without the need for a physical body.

However, it is important to note that these studies are still in their early stages and more research is needed to fully understand the nature of consciousness. Additionally, there are many different theories about what consciousness is and how it works, and there is no one agreed-upon scientific consensus on the matter.

Famed futurist Professor Michio Kaku gave his mind-bending take on the future of space travel in a Q & A session with fans by asking what his vision of the future is, the physicist predicted that our species will be able to transport "digital consciousness" through laser porting by the end of the century.

🟣He claimed that this will enable us to travel to the Moon in one second, before visiting the most dangerous parts of the universe in as little as four years. Prof Kaku’s one of the far out ideas is laser porting.

🟣And also he claimed that by the end of this century, we will have mapped the entire human brain, and will be able to place the coding on a laser beam and then fire it to the stars.

🟣And in one second, our digital consciousness will be on the Moon, without booster rockets, weightlessness, or radiation problems.

🟣In four years, we could be at the nearest star. At the endpoint, there is a receiver that downloads our connectome.

🟣Then our digital consciousness is uploaded into a mechanical avatar, which has the powers of a superhuman.

🟣Hence, we can explore the universe at the speed of light, and roam across dangerous planets and asteroids.

Prof. Kaku added that aliens may even be using this technology already, but we are yet to discover it.

He said that perhaps this already exists, perhaps aliens thousands of years ago already created a super highway of laser beams, with billions of digitized souls exploring the universe at the speed of light. So, that means too bad we are too stupid and primitive to detect such a superhighway, which could be in our backyard.

Ultimately, the question of whether human consciousness can travel through space and time is a philosophical one that may never be definitively answered. However, the scientific research that is currently available suggests that it is a possibility that should not be ruled out.
